Akea is the Sardinian term for “May you live well for over 100 years”.

Akea Life, a fairly young company based out of Raleigh North Carolina researched the thousand years of human experience to find out why certain people live longer, healthier lives.

The company researched these places known as “longevity hot spots” and wanted to understand the traits, diets, behaviors, and lifestyle choices these people were making.

People in these longevity hotspots lived well up into their 90s and into their hundreds and lived very good, healthy vital lives into their later years.

Akea is all about engaging folks in life, every aspect of it, from our environment, our social connections, what we eat, and how we spend our time and being motivated by a set of core values. It is much more than a product or service. It is an experience of a lifetime, for a lifetime.
